Lakeview Stud’s Horses & Stallions have their 1st playout of the year!!
Well what a beautiful day today is so we decided it was time the ponies all played out!! As you can see from the pictures Dynamite and Cookie our 2 graded stallions had a particularly good time. It is so lovely that our boys get the chance to go out & be a normal horse.
We are absolutely thrilled to bits today when Cookie (so named because he is a gingernut!!) our 3 yr old Johnson (Jazz) x Contango (Contender) Caritas KWPN stallion was awarded full license status at his grading with the Anglo European Studbook grading in Solihull.
He behaved impeccably and showed himself off to not only the judges but the crowd (being remarkably similar in attitude (a downright show off) to “Stallion” from Shrek!). He snorted, arched his neck trotted & cantered round to the total adoration of the audience!
He was the only dressage stallion to recieve the highly coveted graded status and our pride was only added to when the director of the AES studbook Henk Minderman commented “now that is a dressage horse” and later stated that he has the paces & presence to go to Grand Prix!
Can you see why? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTmTz4Zlcmg
Please leave us your coments.
Cookie will be available to a few select mares this year.

Saffy & Win attened the grading at Holdenfold Dressage on 8th September 09. She was awarded a 8.5 for her tror and 9 for canter. They also commented that she was the best foal they had seen this year!!! Praise indeed
Saffy has been sold to Janey from Cheshire and we look forward to receiving regular udates on this beautiful young ladies progress.
Dynamite & Coolman attended the 1st ZfdP stallion grading in the UK. This was very well supported and the standard was very high. Dynamite was graded into the German Riding Horse & German Pinto studbooks which we were thrilled with. Coolman underwent a pre-grading inspection and we had some brilliant comments.
Any foals by Smooth Design are therefore eligable for a German passport, coloured foals can also be registered/overstamped with CHAPS.
